Exercises Seniors Will Enjoy and Some Useful Tips

Sometimes I just get bored of exercises and need some motivation. I found this site that will help motivate you and also offers some great tips for exercises seniors can use. Give them a look!

It was wonderful to hear from Claude in Paris that you’d discovered ElderExercise. I’d like to expand on who we are and what we’re about.

The idea is that many women over 50 know it’s important to stay active as we age but lack a connection with others who feel the same. Regular exercise is our primary goal.

Begun by two Elderbloggers, we encourage each member to set her own goals and share them. Each week we post about the previous week. Did we reach 5,000 steps most days? (We are fans of daily pedometer use.) Is there a new exercise we’ve begun to use?

Then each of us offers encouragement to the other–always! That’s primary: to give positive feedback as we work toward healthier lifestyles.
